The Mumbai right-hander also broke the record for most number of sixes in an innings, smashing an unprecedented 16 sixes.
Shikhar Dhawan (60) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (62) also chipped in.
Xavier Doherty was the pick of the Australian bowlers, taking two wickets for 74 runs.
