One of the saddest day ever Tollywood will forget, it is quite hard to believe that another star is no more. Hero, actor and the very talented Srihari passed away on October 9th 2013 evening after being treated for a liver ailment here at Leelavathi hospital in Mumbai.
While shooting in Mumbai today, he suddenly felt ill and is shifted to Leelavathi hospital for a treatment, where he breathed his last. The 49 year old actor is survived by wife Shanti and two sons. From quite a few years many say that Srihari has undergone liposuction to slim down, but fact is that he is being eaten away by this disease from inside.
Born on August 15th, 1964 in Hyderabad, Srihari started his career as a stunt master and later got introduced as an actor by Dasari Narayana Rao in 1986. He turned hero with the movie 'Police', and later became biggest opening getter in 90s when it comes to small budgeted films. He happens to be the only character-actor in Telugu fraternity who is paid more than a crore.
In many recent Tollywood blockbusters like Magadheera, Brindavanam, Don Seenu and others, Srihari played vital roles in the movie, which will stand ini history forever. His movies like Ganapathi, Badrachalam, Sambayya, Ayodhya Ramayya and Vijayaramaraju still draw superb crowds whenever they are aired on TV. Recently Srihari ventured into Bollywood with Zanjeer remake and is also featuring as a villain in upcoming movie Rambo Rajkumar.
Actually the whole of Andhra Pradesh is eagerly looking for this actor to make his foray into politics as he stated it many times. Also he is doing lot of charity work through Akshara Foundation, which is named after his daughter who died just months after her birth.
