Ace director Puri Jagannadh is celebrating his 47th birthday today. He was born on September 28th, 1966 at Bapiraju Kothapalli, Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh. He is well known with his films like ‘Idiot’, ‘Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi’, ‘Shivamani 9848022338’, and ‘Pokiri’ etc. He made his directional debut with Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Badri’. All his movies start with a divide talk and end as block busters. His ‘Pokiri’ was his first movie which had a silver jubilee run at the box-office. ‘Pokiri’ even completed 200 days and Completed 562 days in Kurnool. Mahesh Starrer ‘Pokiri’ is the only film in 75 years of Telugu Industry to be screened for more than 500 days. His next film with Prabhas titled ‘Bujjigadu- Made In Chennai’ was released on May 23rd, 2008 and the film was said to be Prabhas' best performance yet but the film's result was satisfactory and it was super hit.
